Jonathan is available to see couples and individuals for short-term or open ended, long- term therapy. He is also trained to provide telephone counselling for those who are home-bound. CredentialsJonathan is a Certified Transactional Analyst and fully accredited by the UKCP (UK council for Psychotherapy). Jonathan holds a B.Sc. in Psychology (hons-Biology) and has an M.Sc Transactional Analysis Psychotherapy. Jonathan also holds a Certificate in Critical Incident Stress De-Briefing (Level 3). He holds certification in Short Term Therapy from the Metanoia Institute and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) Certificates for Levels I, II and III. Jonathan has been running his own private practice in East and North-West London for the last five years. He has undertaken corporate work for the BBC and management consultancies in an advisory and research capacity and has also taken part in training for academic institutions. Jonathan worked as the Chief Executive of the Cancer Counselling Trust, responsible for overall clinical, operational and strategic direction. Before this, Jonathan worked as the Clinical Services Manager for a large Employee Assistance Programme, managing a team of counsellors and ensuring professional excellence and delivery of a national critical incident service Professional BodiesJonathan Lake is a member of the EATA (European Association for Transactional Analysis) and the BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy).
